What is Project Spirit?

Project Spirit is designed to be an exploratory experience of the virtues listed in Galatians 5:22-23. It is about discovering how to take what we know and understand of the 9 virtues from God’s Word and translating them into a living experience. This is a self-guided project which provides the tools, material, and the tips you will need to help facilitate your own experience.

Project Spirit has four essential elements which should be taken into consideration:

  1. Study – reading and studying the Scriptures exposes us to God’s truths.

  2. Meditation – is about internalizing God’s truths which affords a richer understanding and insight.

  3. Prayer – our life with God begins with prayer. It is the essence of our living relationship with God.

  4. Practice – our life becomes a living experience and expression of God’s truths through the practice of God’s Word.

Project Spirit is a self paced series using the links below that will provide the material and the guidelines and tips you will need to self-arrange your experience with the virtues. You can think of this project as a spiritual growth experience. Have fun!

We are led to do spiritual things by the Spirit of God. Scripture clearly shows that the Holy Spirit is given to assist us as both “Teacher” and “Helper” of all that God has called us do in Christ. Realize that we are not alone in our efforts to live for God. He sends the Holy Spirit so that we may have power to be His witnesses. What greater testimony can we have about God than His Spirit leading us to walk in love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control? (Galatians 5:22-23)
